Stainless Steel Open Stem Soft Seal Flange Gate Valve

The stainless steel open stem soft seal flange gate valve produced by Tanggu Shengshi Huagong is a key device for controlling the flow and cutoff of media in pipeline systems. It is widely used in water supply and drainage, petrochemical, energy and electricity and other fields. The valve is made of high-quality stainless steel as the main material. With its excellent corrosion resistance, it can operate stably for a long time in a variety of complex media environments, effectively reducing maintenance frequency and extending service life.

This stainless steel rising stem soft seal flange gate valve from Shengshi Huagong is different from the concealed stem gate valve. The rising stem design allows the valve stem to move up and down with the rise and fall of the gate during operation. Users can observe the position of the valve stem to intuitively and accurately judge the opening and closing status of the valve, which greatly facilitates daily operation and management. At the same time, the soft seal structure uses soft materials such as rubber with excellent elasticity as seals. Compared with traditional metal seals, it can achieve a tighter sealing effect, effectively prevent medium leakage, and meet various working conditions with strict sealing requirements.

Technical parameters

Project

Parameter range

Nominal diameter

DN50 - DN1200 (larger or smaller diameters can be customized according to special needs)

Nominal pressure

PN1.0MPa - PN6.4MPa (some special models can withstand higher pressures)

Applicable temperature

-20℃ - 250℃ (depending on the different stainless steel materials and rubber sealing materials, the applicable temperature range varies. The use of special high-temperature resistant rubber and stainless steel materials can further increase the applicable temperature; the use of low-temperature resistant rubber can be used in lower temperature environments)

Applicable media

Water, steam, air, oil, acid and alkali solutions, food and beverages, pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products, etc. (different corrosive media are selected according to the material. 304 stainless steel is suitable for generally non-corrosive media, and 316L stainless steel is suitable for highly corrosive media)

Valve body material

304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, etc. (different materials have different corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, and the appropriate material can be selected according to the specific working conditions)

Valve cover material

Stainless steel material of the same as the valve body

Gate material

Stainless steel skeleton + high-performance rubber (rubber material can be selected according to the medium and temperature requirements EPDM, nitrile rubber, fluororubber, etc.)

Valve stem material

Stainless steel (usually consistent with the valve body material to ensure overall corrosion resistance and mechanical performance matching)

Sealing form

Soft seal (rubber seal)

Connection method

Flange connection, welding connection, butt clamp connection (the appropriate connection method can be selected according to the requirements of the pipeline system)

Drive mode

Manual, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic (the appropriate drive mode can be selected according to the actual use scenario and control requirements)

Standards

Design, manufacture and test in accordance with relevant domestic standards such as GB (national standard), HG (chemical industry standard) and some international standards, such as ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards and ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) standards, to ensure that product quality and performance meet industry specifications

Installation and maintenance

Installation points: Before installation, carefully check whether the model and specifications of the valve are consistent with the design requirements, check whether the various parts of the valve are intact, focus on checking the flexibility of the gate, whether the sealing surface is damaged, whether the valve stem is bent and deformed, etc., and clean up the debris and dirt inside the valve. During installation, ensure that the valve is installed in the correct direction, and the flow direction mark on the valve body should be consistent with the actual flow direction of the medium. When using flange connection, select suitable sealing gaskets, tighten the bolts evenly, and tighten them step by step in a symmetrical and cross order to prevent flange deformation or poor sealing; welding connections must be operated by professionals to ensure welding quality; clamp connections must ensure that the valve fits tightly with the pipeline flange. In addition, the valve should be installed in a position that is convenient for operation and maintenance, and sufficient space should be reserved for handwheel operation, valve stem lifting and lowering, and daily inspection and maintenance. At the same time, avoid installing the valve in the bend of the pipeline or in a position that is susceptible to vibration.

Maintenance: Regularly check the sealing performance of the valve, observe whether there are signs of medium leakage outside the valve, and judge the sealing status by monitoring the changes in pipeline pressure. If leakage is found, find the cause in time. It may be aging or damage of the sealing gasket, wear and tear of the rubber sealing surface of the gate, impurities attached, or failure of the sealing structure between the valve stem and the valve cover. According to different reasons, replace the sealing gasket in time, repair or replace the gate, clean up the debris on the sealing surface, and repair or replace the failed sealing structure. Check the movement of the valve stem regularly, operate the valve manually, check whether the operating torque is normal, whether the valve stem rotates flexibly, and whether the gate lifts and lowers smoothly. If the valve stem does not move flexibly, it may be due to insufficient lubrication, deformation of the valve stem, or entry of debris. You can add appropriate lubricants, correct or replace the valve stem, and clean the debris inside the valve. At the same time, clean the valve regularly to remove surface dirt, dust and corrosion. For valves installed in corrosive environments, additional anti-corrosion measures must be taken, such as applying anti-corrosion paint and using anti-corrosion protective sleeves, to extend the service life of the valve. In addition, regular inspection and maintenance of electric, pneumatic, hydraulic and other drive devices should be carried out to ensure accurate control and reliable operation.
