Installation and maintenance

(I) Installation points

1. Before installation, carefully check whether the model and specifications of the valve are consistent with the design requirements, check whether the valve components are intact, and remove the debris and dirt inside the valve.

2. During installation, ensure that the flow direction of the valve is consistent with the flow direction of the medium, which can be judged according to the arrow mark on the valve. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the valve is installed on a horizontal pipeline or a vertical pipeline (the medium flows from bottom to top) to ensure that the valve disc can be opened and closed normally by gravity and medium pressure.

3. During the flange connection process, the sealing gasket should be installed correctly and the bolts should be tightened evenly to avoid sealing failure due to uneven force. When tightening the bolts, they should be tightened in a diagonal cross order and tightened step by step in multiple times to ensure that the flange connection is tight.

4. The valve should be installed in a position that is convenient for operation and maintenance. At the same time, the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline system should be considered, and sufficient space should be reserved to prevent damage to the valve due to pipeline deformation.

(II) Maintenance

1. Check the sealing performance of the valve regularly and observe whether there is any leakage of the medium. If leakage is found, the cause should be found in time. It may be the damage of the sealing gasket, the wear of the sealing surface of the valve disc and the valve seat, etc. The sealing gasket should be replaced or the sealing surface should be ground and repaired according to the specific situation.

2. Check the wear of the valve disc, valve seat, pin shaft and other parts. If there is serious wear or damage, the corresponding parts should be replaced in time. At the same time, to ensure that the pin shaft rotates flexibly, the pin shaft can be lubricated and maintained regularly to prevent the normal rotation of the valve disc from being affected by rust or jamming.

3. For valves that are not used for a long time, the opening and closing operations should be performed regularly to prevent the valve disc from sticking to the valve seat. During the operation, pay attention to the movement of the valve disc and deal with any abnormalities in time.

4. Keep the valve surface clean and perform anti-corrosion treatment on the valve regularly. You can choose appropriate anti-corrosion paint according to the use environment to prevent the valve body from rusting and corrosion and extend the service life of the valve.
