The soft sealed threaded gate valve produced by our Shengshi Huagong is a valve product that combines the excellent mechanical properties of ductile iron with the advantages of soft sealing and threaded connection. It is widely used in building water supply and drainage, small industrial pipelines, HVAC and other fields.

This soft-sealed threaded gate valve uses ductile iron as the main structural material for the valve body, valve cover, etc., giving full play to the high strength, high toughness and good casting performance of ductile iron, and can withstand high pressure and harsh working environment; the soft sealing structure uses elastic materials such as rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene to ensure that the valve has excellent sealing performance and effectively prevents medium leakage; the threaded connection method makes the valve installation and disassembly simple and quick, without the need for professional tools and complex operations, especially suitable for pipeline systems with limited space or frequent installation and disassembly, providing reliable protection for fluid on-off control.

Installation and maintenance


Installation points

Pre-installation inspection: Before installation, carefully check whether the model and specifications of the valve are consistent with the design requirements, check whether the valve components are intact, whether the soft sealing surface is damaged, and whether the valve stem can rotate flexibly. At the same time, clean the debris, oil and rust inside the valve and the threaded interface to ensure a clean installation environment.

Connection operation: Align the threaded interface of the valve and the pipeline, wrap the sealing tape or sealant around the pipeline thread, and then tighten the valve on the pipeline with a wrench. When tightening, pay attention to uniform force to avoid damage to the thread or deformation of the valve due to excessive force, and ensure that the connection is tight to prevent leakage. During installation, strictly determine the installation direction according to the flow direction mark on the valve to ensure the correct flow direction of the medium.

Installation position: The valve should be installed in a position that is convenient for operation and maintenance, and reserve enough space for handwheel operation. Avoid installing the valve at the bend of the pipeline or in a position that is susceptible to vibration to prevent the valve from being damaged due to uneven force.

Maintenance and care

Regular inspection: Regularly check the sealing performance of the valve and observe whether there is medium leakage at the threaded connection, valve stem stuffing box and other parts. If leakage is found, find the cause in time. It may be due to aging of sealing tape, wear of packing or loose threads. Deal with the specific causes, such as replacing sealing tape, adding or replacing packing, tightening threads, etc.

Lubrication and cleaning: Check the lubrication of the valve stem regularly. If the lubrication is insufficient, add appropriate lubricant in time to ensure that the valve stem can be lifted and lowered flexibly to reduce friction and wear. At the same time, regularly clean the dirt and corrosion on the surface of the valve to keep the valve clean. For valves exposed to outdoor or corrosive environments, measures such as coating anti-corrosion paint can be taken for protection.

Component inspection and replacement: Regularly conduct a comprehensive inspection of the valve, including the wear of the soft sealing surface of the gate and the verticality of the valve stem. If the soft sealing surface is found to be severely worn or damaged, the gate should be replaced in time; if the valve stem is bent or deformed, it needs to be repaired or replaced to ensure the normal operation and service life of the valve.
