The core soft sealing structure of our fire pipeline clamp type soft seal butterfly valve is to coat the edge of the butterfly plate with elastic sealing materials such as rubber and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and use the good flexibility and deformation ability of these materials to achieve zero leakage or extremely low leakage, effectively preventing medium leakage.

When it is working, the butterfly plate rotates 90° around the valve stem axis to realize the opening, closing and flow regulation functions of the valve. When the butterfly plate rotates to be parallel to the pipeline axis, the valve is fully open and the medium can pass smoothly; when the butterfly plate rotates to be perpendicular to the pipeline axis, the valve is closed, and the flow of the medium is cut off by the close fit of the soft sealing material.
